TOPOGRAPHER
The topographer is the next stop on your exam. If you wear rigid gas permeable contact lenses, or if you have had Lasik, PRK, RK or ocular surface surgery, the technician will perform a corneal topgraphy, which is a "surface mapping of your cornea". This step is crucial to helping to fit you with contact lenses.

EYE CHART TEST
Once you are in the exam room, a technician will take your accuities to assess how well you are seeing. This is done using the Eye Chart that is a familiar image. Once this is done, I will review all the pretest data and continue the case history.
